Making connections with industry professionals can be terrifying; pitching a game even more so. Join writer, journalist and educator Gavin Spoors as he reveals his top tips and tricks when it comes to making meaningful connections and presenting ideas.

From navigating social interactions to pitch deck delivery, Gavin will share his experiences of being a neurodivergent creative who has developed industry contacts and delivered presentations for over six years across games, films, and higher education.

Recommended age 14+. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Gavin Spoors is an award-winning games writer and film journalist.

Within the world of game development, he has worked with Fairer Games and Serious Point Games on their debut titles, launching soon. In film journalism, he is the Editor-in-Chief of FILMHOUNDS Magazine and has interviewed Hollywood stars on the red carpet, attended international film festivals, and covered film premieres. Gavin also works for Norwich University of the Arts, delivering talks and workshops on creative careers to prospective students across the country.
