A fun and fast hands-on crash course in how board games work and how to make them.

Ever had an idea for a game but not known what to do next, or tried to make it and it hasn’t come out as well as you hoped?

Experienced game designer James Wallis explains how games work and where new ideas come from, and then guides you through the process of designing and making the game, writing the rules, testing it with other players, and how to make it better.

All game-making materials are provided, and you get to take your game home at the end of the workshop.

Recommended for ages 8+. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Adult £20, Child £15

The Gallery, The Forum
