Experienced game designer James Wallis explains how games work and where new ideas come from, and then guides you through the process of designing and making the game, writing the rules, testing it with other players, and how to make it better.
All game-making materials are provided, and you get to take your game home at the end of the workshop.

He wrote the book Everybody Wins, co-wrote Board Games In 100 Moves with Sir Ian Livingstone, and lectured in game design at London South Bank University for a decade. His card game Once Upon a Time has sold a third of a million copies.
