What makes British games so successful, and why do we love them so much?

The British have always loved games, and we’re pretty good at making them too.

British games have changed the world, from Ludus Anglicorum in the 14th century up to Warhammer 40K today. The first collectible card game was British, the first whodunnit game, the first winner of the Game of the Year award, as well as classics like whist and cribbage. But what makes British games so successful, and why do we love them so much?

Recommended for ages 14+ Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
