Discover the benefits of meeting new people and real conversations!

Meeting new, like-minded people is exciting, energising, and inspiring. Conversations can open up unexpected opportunities and help you progress quickly. Yet walking into a room of strangers and starting meaningful conversations can feel daunting—and it’s not always easy to see the value of networking at first.

In this interactive workshop, Lucy will explore what networking really means and why it matters, showing the benefits to you, such as exploring career paths, learning from others, testing ideas, opening doors to new projects, finding collaborators, and being part of a supportive community.

In just one hour, you’ll learn strategies and techniques, take part in live networking practice, and join open discussions—so you’ll leave ready to network with confidence and purpose.

Ages 16+. This is a workshop to join if you’re a freelancer, start-up founder, or college or university student, all involved in the games industry.
